Investigators accuse Deputy Energy Min Tikhonov of 603 mln rbl fraud
MOSCOW, Sep 9 (PRIME) -- Russian investigators have presented an accusation of a 603 million ruble fraud to Deputy Energy Minister Anatoly Tikhonov, spokeswoman for the Investigative Committee Svetlana Petrenko told reporters on Wednesday.
The others suspected of involvement in the case are Tikhonov’s aide Roman Ryzhkov, Vice President of company Lanit Vladimir Makarov and a Viktor Serebryakov.
"The people were detained. Tikhonov occupies the post of deputy energy minister of the Russian Federation. Besides, he tried to hide, using various methods of conspiracy, changing cars and places of temporary residence in Moscow many times," Petrenko said.
The Investigative Committee will plans to seek putting the accused in jail.
The Energy Ministry said it would provide all possible support during the investigation and will present all documents needed for the investigation.
